Renovated in 2005, the hotel’s lobby displays a Great House style inspired by the islands’ colonial era. Dark-wood floors and wainscoting, French doors, and wood-paddle ceiling fans complement overstuffed chairs and deep, banquette-style, high-back couches. That style extends into the library, which contains board games, a pool table, a big-screen TV, and book-filled shelves.
